LMU and the SEIU Local 721 Visiting Professors bargaining unit met today for the second bargaining session, in the ongoing process toward reaching a first collective bargaining agreement.
The union did not present any new proposals or counterproposals.
The university presented five counterproposals during the session:
- Union Security and Checkoff
- Recognition
- Discipline and Discharge
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Certification
- Labor Management Committee
The university and union agreed that the teams would continue to bargain over the summer.
